Wishes v/s Commitments

This time of the year it is common to send best wishes to our families, friends and acquaintances. It is also a good time to take stock of what we have achieved during this year that is coming to an end. There are a lot of questions that we need to ask ourselves.

Are we the same person that we were at the beginning of this year?
What about our financial status?
How much have been invested in our self development?
Did we lived a fulfilling year?
How did we overcome the challenges?
Did we spend enough time with our kids, spouse or elders?
Did we achieve whatever we had planned for this year?
What has been our contribution to make our world better?

We just don’t realize how time is consuming us; don’t despair, make resolutions for the coming year write them down and commit to ourselves that we will work to make a better future for our families, friends, our community and the world at large. We all have the potential to make a difference; we don’t need to take great actions, simple ones that can change the lives of the people around us.
So friends don’t go only for wishes, go for commitment and make the year 2010 a turning point in our presence on this tiny planet.
God Bless.

Do you still have dreams?

When we were kids, we all had a lot of things we cherished and wanted to achieve when we would become adult. But then while growing, we get entangle in the rat race of modern living and forget all about our dreams. So sad, but how much true for many of us.

We must try to reconnect with that child living in each of us and bring forth the dreams that we had consciously or unconsciously chose to forget. Most importantly if we are serious of achieving them, to write them down and read them daily. Feel the joyous emotions of achieving them and this trigger our subconscious to make it happen on the physical plane.

To ensure success in achieving our dreams, they must be converted into goals either short term or long term;this can be done, by establishing realistic target dates and devising a solid plan on how to achieve them.

A well defined goal together with a strong plan still will not guarantee success if there is no commitment and consistency. We must never give up when we face challenges but rather use these hurdles to become stronger.

If the dream is big, facts do not count, don't be afraid to dream big.

Living a Blissful Life

It is quite natural to start this first blog with this title as the very quest of all people is to live not only a peaceful life or a life full of abundance but also a blissful life. That's a return to our true nature.

We may wonder how is it possible to live such a life with all the worries and stresses of everyday life. Indeed it is not an easy task but it takes time to cultivate a mindset that looks at life as a blessing and live each experience that comes to us as a step toward our own growth.

Every people we meet has got something to offer, but it is up to us to make good use of this opportunity. We are right now in the best possible position for us to move forward but we need to take the decision to move and the will to take action.

But first and foremost we must BELIEVE that we are in essence already BLISSFUL.
